The magazine details were revealed by a European reader on Bungie's Website (and then quickly pulled off) but a Microsoft spokesperson confirmed with IGN the French OXM was given official Halo 3 details.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;First the multiplayer goodness: According to OXM, Halo 3's multiplayer mode has a maximum of 16 players, not more like many people has speculated. The Valhala map (which was revealed along with Snowbound and High Ground) is inspired by, similar to, and more or less an improved version, of Blood Gulch; but it's not a remake. And the cannon, referred to loosely as the &amp;quot;Man Cannon,&amp;quot; works with both explosive barrels and vehicles. The gameplay mechanic enables players to be shot into the air like human missiles and they can then, from mid-air, shoot at and be shot at by enemies.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The magazine also reported you can add gamers without having them on your friends' list, and listed a bunch of new multiplayer types: NinjaBall (keep the ball at all costs), TankFlag (a very powerful &amp;quot;tank&amp;quot; will carry the flag, but in turn it will be much more powerful), and Elimination (kill five opponent team members). &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The current screenshots of Halo 3 aren't nearly as good as the final build will be, insists Bungie in the OXM article, which also reported the game is still in its alpha stage of development. Bungie staff members used the last month to build additional software for Halo 3 on Xbox 360, and insisted that Halo 3 will be done &amp;quot;when it's ready.&amp;quot; Will Peter Moore show us the release date on his bicep next year? Stay tuned!&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Other details: For those wondering about the handling of the Warthog and Ghost, they control similarly to the vehicles in Halo 2. The Spartan Laser is a powerful guided weapon that requires three seconds to lock-on and fire and uses a guidance system. The highly touted X button is currently &amp;quot;unused,&amp;quot; but will be part of Bungie's overall re-imagining of the controls. A new feature loosely called the Movie Maker enables players to capture approximately 10 seconds and possible 30 seconds of multiplayer footage to show off to friends (this last detail was vague and of a more speculative nature).&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;We'll have more when Bungie gives it up!&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font color="#ff6600"&gt;&lt;font color="#0000ff"&gt;IGN: Well I guess we can start off talking about this Match Made in Hell event.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;br&gt;Chris Di Cesare: Well, ok, it's actually a combination of events. There are three events that we're going to be doing, kicking off with the event Wednesday night. Kind of giving you an overview of that, it's a partnership that we have with New Line around the upcoming Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning which I think opens nationwide on Friday and then as well with AMC with their theater chains. We're doing a, for lack of a better term, a chainsaw double bill where we're going to open it up where we'll have the movie play for everybody a few days before the official release as well as kind of letting people have the first hands-on play with Gears of War on the movie screen as well.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;font color="#0000ff"&gt;IGN: Oh, Gears of War is going to be up on the big screen?&lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;br&gt;Chris Di Cesare: Yep.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;font color="#3366ff"&gt;&lt;font color="#0000ff"&gt;IGN: Cool. So you have two other events planned?&lt;/font&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;br&gt;Chris Di Cesare: Yeah, for the end of the month we have a ghoul party in LA which we'll have at the Hollywood Cemetery. I don't know if you know about the Hollywood Cemetery but it's a working cemetery. But they also have events periodically. So, we're going to have the actual party at that event which is right around Halloween frame time so it works well. And then the last is a Fright Fest event which is partnering with Six Flags. We're going to have a private performance with Megadeath which we've partnered with over the summer with the Gigantor tour. But they became big Gears of War fans as a result of that. So they actually crafted a Gears of War song so they're going to do kind of a mini concert and premiere their new song, Gears of War, which will be part of their new album.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;font color="#0000ff"&gt;IGN: And when will that happen?&lt;/font&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Chris Di Cesare: That will happen on Halloween. The other one will happen a few days prior to that, although I don't have the exact date on that. So in general, we call it the Match Made in Hell tour because, well, the one constant in all events is to have early hands-on with Gears of War before its release in early November. But then also partnering with relevant entertainment brands that fit the profile, or that edgy feel that Gears of War is all about.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font color="#ff6600"&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

Currently being developed by Treyarch, &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;a title="Call of Duty 3" href="http://xbox360.ign.com/objects/801/801849.html"&gt;&lt;font color="#006600"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Call of Duty 3&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;strong&gt; is scheduled for a fall 2006 release on Xbox 360, PS3, Nintendo Wii, Xbox, and PS2. That's right, no PC version this year. Activision wasn't ready to discuss PC plans either, so we're still in the dark. We're told every version will be feature identical in terms of gameplay, though graphical differences will exist. With only a year separating CoD3 and CoD2, there are still a number of changes to the frantic action sequences the Call of Duty series has become known for.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

There really is nothing quite like it. The selling points are many. The spirit feature doesn't, in fact, get too repetitive when you die. Instead, it prevents you from re-covering already well-tread ground. The wall and ceiling climbing may make some gamers motion sick, but for the most part the experience is really, really fun. It turns into a pretty heavy-duty multiplayer skill in the end, and though I like it, I think some folks might end up getting tired of it real quick. The wall and ceiling climbing is wild and fun, but combined with phenomenally cool level design, with come great puzzles and some rather iffy, illogical puzzles thrown in, a surprise enemy, and some really cool weapons, Prey finishes everything off with smart presentation, impressive graphics, and great sound. The game is a little shorter than I had hoped, and the graphics aren't quite as good on the Xbox 360 as they are on the PC, but this should be a slam dunk on Xbox Live. The multiplayer modes are sure to have gamers deeply involved over the next several months. The options, technical experience, and the amount and quality of online games are straightforward fun,&lt;/font&gt; &lt;font color="#3366ff"&gt;9 out of 10&lt;/font&gt;.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

You change your mind and follow a side path. It's a more dangerous road, but your new weapon provides newly infused confidence. With the SR-25 SD firmly in hand, you crouch and quietly tread a dirt path to the top of a vacant cliff post. Dropping to your chest, the hard earth makes it difficult to move freely. No matter. You pull the scope site to your eye and steady the marksmen rifle. The 7.62x51mmSS rifle unites the power of a SR-25 rifle with a suppressor, handing you a deathly quiet shot. You steady the gun against your face and hold your breath. The gun scope easily zooms into the fields below, skimming every object with great clarity. &lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font color="#ff0000"&gt;Welcome to Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (GRAW), Ubisoft's ambitious and wildly successful military tactical shooter based in the Tom Clancy universe. (Oh, and congratulations, you've just killed a virtual Nicaraguan arms runner.) After hitting store shelves March 8, GRAW has become a marker in the next-gen chronology line. It's one of those early next-gen games that have forged a creative and technical path for others to follow, and before any other similar games have come out to better it, Ubisoft has beaten them to the punch. If you've ever played GRAW online, you would have noticed the online achievements for chapter 1 and chapter 2 awards, even though chapter 2 options aren't in the retail build. Ah yes, it's all becoming clear now, isn't it? Just like all Ubisoft additional content, this package is a generous portion of real stuff. First, you'll get four totally new co-op missions, Coffee Plantation (Day), Shipping Port (Evening), River Depot (Dawn), and Jungle Mine (Day), designed by Red Storm studios. You'll also receive eight newly re-lit maps. &amp;quot;Re-lit&amp;quot; means that these should be familiar maps to you, but they are re-done with different lighting scenarios, giving them a relatively new perspective.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;For instance, seeing the fishing village at Dusk and Old Town in the morning bring an eerie de ja vu to the experience. If you've played the game, you know those maps like the back of your hand. But the new lighting can give them an incandescent look that's refreshing. These maps include four old ones -- Fishing Village (dusk), Wharf (late day), Old Town (morning), and Nowhere (evening) -- all of which reveal a neat new glow. The four new maps, Coffee Plantation, Shipping Port, River Depot, and Jungle Mine also receive newly re-lit environments, so they will seems &amp;quot;twice&amp;quot; as new. Whoa. Published by Sierra Entertainment and developed by Monolith Productions, the game distanced itself from standard shooters with complex, realistic A.I. patterns, an interesting combat system, and genuinely frightening scenarios. Anyone who's played another of Monolith's creations, Condemned: Criminal Origins for the PC or Xbox 360, knows what it's like to be scared. Both games use similar techniques to frighten players. A few examples include skulking shadowy figures in the distance that disintegrate as you approach, lights flicker and give partial views of unnatural scenes, and there are many instances of shock surprise moments. The storylines have similar elements as well, involving murderous psychic influences that drive your enemies to assault you and others.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

Until then, take a look below for an outline of content this massive update consists of:&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;font color="#000000"&gt;Continuation of Co-op Campaign with 4 All New Missions in Chapter 2:&lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;font color="#0000ff"&gt;Coffee Plantation (Day)&lt;/font&gt; – This takes place on a coffee plantation embedded deep in Nicaragua. The map is littered with good cover options that appear in the form of a centrally located plantation house, coffee processing equipment, growing coffee plants, and stacked bags of coffee beans ready for transport. The Ghosts’ overall goal of this mission is to eliminate the arms dealer and shut down his operations.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;font color="#0000ff"&gt;Shipping Port (Evening)&lt;/font&gt; – The next mission takes place at a shipping port and the Ghosts’ objective is to stop the enemy from smuggling weapons into the country. The player will interact with rebel troops through warehouses, decks of ships, and on massive shipping cranes. This night mission provides an eerie backdrop for Ghosts to move in take out the weapon shipments and ensure that the illegal smuggling of arms will stop.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;font color="#0000ff"&gt;River Depot (Dawn)&lt;/font&gt; – This map puts the Ghosts in a jungle area that the Rebel forces have infiltrated and are using for storing and shipping out illegal weapons. As the player weaves through the jungle and eliminates the patrols of enemies, they must also destroy all the weapon shipments and keep the Rebels from extracting from the area. Massive trees, loads of weapon shipments, and enemy transports are unique characteristics of this mission.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;font color="#0000ff"&gt;Jungle Mine (Day)&lt;/font&gt; – The last mission in this co-op campaign chapter takes place in a mine that is vital to the Rebel force’s regime and the Ghosts are tasked with securing the area, destroying the weapons, and eliminating the Rebel leader. The central location on this map is the mine itself and it provides a place for multi-tiered gameplay surrounded by good cover. Tomorrow those who venture onto Xbox Live will receive a free update.  the update includes more than 125 changes and features, the most visible are reflected in the Xbox Live interface and set-up.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The update is digitally distributed over Xbox Live to Silver and Gold members with no disc or hard drive required. Those lacking an Xbox Live account can still take advantage of the update as long as they can connect their X360 to a broadband Internet connection. According to Microsoft, downloading the update should take less than a minute.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;IGN asked a representative from Microsoft if those luddites without a broadband Internet connection can get the update and unfortunately the answer was &amp;quot;No.&amp;quot; However, Microsoft has plans to include future updates on new game disks, so that these people will still be able to keep their X360's current.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Microsoft has promised that these mass updates, which are largely based on user feedback, will become a bi-annual treat with the next one expected in the fall.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

The next release should be a little easier on the wallet. According to Pete Hines, VP of Marketing and Public Relations at Bethesda, a patch should release tomorrow, though if not definitely this week, addressing a variety of issues within the world of Oblivion.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font size=2&gt;Those playing on the &lt;/font&gt;&lt;font size=2&gt;PC&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font size=2&gt; will be able to grab the patch on the official Oblivion download site. Xbox 360 gamers will be prompted to apply the patch as soon as Oblivion boots up, assuming the &lt;/font&gt;&lt;font size=2&gt;console&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font size=2&gt; is connected to Xbox Live. Florida lawyer Jack Thompson is on a crusade to return the world to that time—when the only threat of having your face blown open came from your local hit man, not those young punks hanging out on the corner.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/font&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font size=2&gt;Thompson needs no introduction to the gaming community. For years he's been vocally condemning &lt;/font&gt;&lt;font size=2&gt;games&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font size=2&gt; as the cause of youth violence, global warming, hurricanes, bird flu, and teen pregnancy. The opportunist has recently seized on another violent crime to evangelize his message to the world: usually some variation of &amp;quot;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font size=2&gt;video games&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font size=2&gt; will be the downfall of society!&amp;quot; &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;After two teenagers in Florida were arrested on suspicion of murder, Thompson suggested to the authorities that they search their homes for gaming paraphernalia. Deputies seized several games rated &amp;quot;M&amp;quot; from one of the homes, but West Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Capt. Spence Dilworth was a bit skeptical as to whether the games provoked the boys to commit murder.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&amp;quot;I think it goes beyond &lt;/font&gt;&lt;font size=2&gt;video&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;font size=2&gt;&lt;strong&gt; games, but who's to say?&amp;quot; Dilworth said of the crime. He went on to say that the question of whether games cause violent behavior is &amp;quot;more of a debate for the living room rather than the courtroom.&amp;quot;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;But Jack Thompson doesn't need to have that debate anywhere. Called Mehrunes Razor, the item will allow for instant enemy kills.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The plotlines associated with the download revolve around the dagger falling into the wrong hands. Your task will be, not surprisingly, to prevent such a potentially disastrous occurrence from taking place. At $2.99 for the PC, this will be the most expensive download yet. &lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font color="#333399"&gt;In a report called &lt;i&gt;On the Future of Portable Game Consoles: Analysis &amp;amp; Forecasts&lt;/i&gt;, TDG anticipates that &amp;quot;Microsoft will likely leverage its Xbox franchise to enter the portable game console (PGC) market in late 2007 or early 2008.&amp;quot; The firm adds that Microsoft would probably try to compete with Sony directly by including multimedia functions with its device, much like the PSP.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&amp;quot;Microsoft has been waiting on the sidelines until its gaming console and software business reached sustainability, all the while watching closely how Nintendo and consumers in general would respond to Sony's PSP,&amp;quot; commented Thomas Wolf, a portable media analyst and co-author of TDG's latest report. &amp;quot;With global PGC revenues expected to reach $3 billion annually by 2008, and with only Sony and Nintendo active in the PGC space, Microsoft has before it an incredible opportunity. It has a critical brand presence in the console space, the breadth and depth of gaming titles, and the marketing clout necessary to enter this space and win decent market share.&amp;quot;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;As The Diffusion Group sees it, Microsoft has two options for entering the portable gaming market: the company can either license a version of its Xbox operating system for others to build portable hardware around (a strategy Microsoft has taken in the past), or it could introduce its own portable console. And Bill Gates himself recently commented on the possibility of an all-in-one pocket device that would include gaming.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&amp;quot;Over time you have to say, will you carry in your pocket a media device and a phone and a gaming device and, say, a tablet device for reading?&amp;quot; Gates asked. &amp;quot;People have different blends of that now. In particular, Ballmer says it must enter new markets that &amp;quot;require big investments.&amp;quot; Citing the Xbox as an example, he says even if Microsoft incurred $4 billion in losses before starting to see gains, its still a better investment to force one's way into an industry rather than buying another company—say, Nintendo—outright.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Ballmer says the company must invest enough to be No. 1 in areas in which it is not the current leader. &amp;quot;If you win, the returns come,&amp;quot; he said. &amp;quot;If you are very successful, the business model works in almost all of these things.&amp;quot;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;In spite of all this evidence, Microsoft is still resisting admitting any specific plans for a handheld console. So, in addition to its simple gameplay, you'll get to see the astronomical levels to which scores can rise, and consequently how badly you suck in comparison. The game gives you the ability to switch when you earn extra lives, as well as the number of starting lives. Switching options from the default setting will, however, prevent your high scores from being loaded into the leaderboards.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font color="#ff0000"&gt;In HD, the game looks like Pac-Man. Around the play area are graphics of the hungry yellow fellow in six poses, but they're merely a static visual garnish. The Man's movements can be controlled with either the control pad or the left control stick. No buttons necessary, seeing how you're just munching dots, ghosts, and the occasional food item. Fans of the classic will be glad to hear all the original's sounds as well, including the unforgettable death effect. In terms of pricing, the game cost 400 Microsoft Points ($5 USD) on our debug unit's Partnernet, though this could change whenever the retail version is released. We felt during our playtime that the XBLA Pac-Man's controls were somewhat imprecise, however. The controller made some of the tight turning required for Pac-Man somewhat awkward, though over time it may become less of an issue.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

The top-down subscription network will see a big update next week when Microsoft deploys a huge new upgrade, enhancing dozens of sections to the interface to make it easier to use, faster, and more functional.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font color="#ff0000"&gt;As part of Microsoft's plans to constantly grow and improve Xbox Live and the thriving economy it's created, the company will update the system twice a year, in spring and fall. Next week's deployment (Microsoft wouldn't pinpoint an exact day) will be its first big spring cleaning, which will affect three major areas of the system, Xbox Live Marketplace, Media, and general usability. In other words, based on user feedback, criticism, and input, Microsoft's 70-person development team fixed a bunch of things and made user functionality smarter and faster. The automatic update will take place when you connect to Xbox Live and takes approximately one minute to download.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;In the Marketplace, gamers will now find new categories for downloads. So, if you want to differentiate a movie from a game download, it's now easier. Download sections are clearer: you'll find games, media and entertainment, demos and game videos, and themes and game pictures categories, as opposed to one section for downloads and then a confused search thereafter. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Also under the marketplace menu, you'll also find a new menu link called Active Downloads. Guess what that means? You'll be able to queue up to six different, be they movies, game demos, or themes. The download feature is niftier than that. You can have six downloads queued up &lt;i&gt;and&lt;/i&gt; play a full retail or Xbox Live Arcade game simultaneously without interruptions or slowdown, according to Microsoft. You also can prioritize the order in which you download the items mid-stream, if you want to. Finally, if you want to play a multiplayer game, the downloads will automatically stop and pick up when you finish playing online. Nifty.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;New functionality has been added to movie and game trailers, too. Once you've downloaded a flick, you can get to the actual movie one step quicker, since Microsoft eliminated a menu in the process. You can now go straight to watch the movie and control it with fast forward, review, pause, stop, and play options with the 360 or the universal remote controller. We watched the Halo 3 trailer being downloaded, played, fast-forwarded, etc. Microsoft also added bookmarking functionality to movie playback -- though that functionality is always on, requiring players to manually turn it off. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Xbox Live Arcade games will be better organized. When you go to download a game, a new header, Newly Released Downloads, enables you to see the most recently released available games. You can also search by choosing an &amp;quot;All&amp;quot; category, or by selecting Arcade Game by Genre (which is more familiar). Once a game is downloaded, you can go directly to the game to play, as Microsoft has again eliminated a step to get you to play that game faster. That's important because previously, the game was often a little hard to find once it had been downloaded. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Changes to the Media section might send little shivers of relief up your spine. Music is now seamlessly integrated into your desktop to such a degree that you can now play the music of your choice while playing a game with fiddling around. Microsoft demoed the functionality to us by using a CD with the song &amp;quot;Big Pimpin'&amp;quot; and playing Geometry Wars Evolved simultaneously. &lt;i&gt;HAWT.&lt;/i&gt; Basically, your choice of music overrides the in-game music. You can also choose to have your music override movie or game trailer music, too.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The new update has many built-in uses for the upcoming USB Camera, due to ship this September. The first game to use the camera is the Xbox Live arcade game UNO, &lt;i&gt;but&lt;/i&gt; Ubisoft's Rainbow Six: Vegas enables players to map their face onto an in-game character (like Neversoft first did with Tony Hawk's Underground). World Series Poker also uses the camera and several additional Xbox Live Arcade games will use the camera. Microsoft stressed other notable games will make use of the camera, though it wouldn't reveal which ones. We'll just settle on speculating that perhaps Gears of War, Mass Effect, Too Human, Forza 2, and maybe even Viva Pinata will possibly use it. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Finally, and most importantly, Microsoft fixed the start-up functionality. Now, if you have left a disc in the system and boot it up, there's an option to go straight to the main desktop, as opposed to automatically (and frustratingly) launching the inserted game. You won't have to stop the game, and then switch to the desktop. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Next week's spring update is filled with dozens more additions, such as the ability to see the battery charge level of a backward compatible game on the Guide blade, easier to find themes, and more.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

The updates include active downloads, which will allow you to play games, watch movies or hang out on the dashboard while you download content. Gone are the days of staring at the progress bar inching to the right of your screen.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Also, probably due to the requests of 360 users everywhere, the 360 will now have an option to boot directly to the dashboard, even if a game or movie is already in the console. Reportedly, you can toggle this option on or off, which is a small yet welcome change.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;MS also has plans to update DVD playback but the post does not go into detail on future change. We are going to go ahead and assume that you will still be able to play DVD movies. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;These changes were slated to be released for download May 23 but no patch or update has been released. We can only assume that a patch will be released this summer. MS isn't ready to shed light on the subject, however. He revealed several little previously unknown tidbits, from vehicles in the game, to Anya, the sidekick, sequels, and possible other media on which Gears of War might appear.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;font color="#ff6600"&gt;&lt;font color="#ff0000"&gt;IGN: What's this whole MTV thing all about? &lt;/font&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;br&gt;CliffyB: I've always watched Project Greenlight. I'm a big fan of their work, and this whole thing was kind of serendipitous. We wanted to get this on TV, on Xbox Live, on all those broadband channels, and give people a chance to see what it's like to make games. It's not just sitting around playing games. I have moments every day when I sit at my computer and I'm bored as hell. But I also have times when I'm raging at parties, having fights with my girlfriend, I'm raising a puppy, and moving into a condo, all this while trying to prep for E3. It was freakin' wild. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;font color="#ff0000"&gt;IGN: What were some of the most awkward moments during the film shoot? &lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;br&gt;CliffyB: The whole thing took six weeks to film. The first week was the most awkward. Once I got past the notion that the camera wouldn't leave me alone, I just forgot it was there. My most awkward moment was when I broke up with my girlfriend damn near on camera. We've been together for a year, and I had so much on my plate, especially getting this game ready or E3. We broke up, and we made up. I told her how much she meant to me, and that I needed her at the show, by my side, and how much that meant to me, and we got back together. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;font color="#ff0000"&gt;IGN: What were some of the best moments of the shooting?&lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;br&gt;CliffyB: Peeling out in my friend's Lamborghini and doing donuts in the Epic parking lot. That was great. Almost gave [the owner] a heart attack.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;font color="#ff0000"&gt;IGN: Do you watch MTV?&lt;/font&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;CliffyB: Yeah, I have it on the background pretty much all the time. I think this show will be like American Chopper with geeks. Whether the world finds it interesting or not, I don't know. But the work MTV did is going to be entertaining and intelligent. You know, we're not just creating a great game, but a great IP. Gears of War won't just stop at the game. We have a lot of plans for this game beyond just the first title; this is just the beginning. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;font color="#ff0000"&gt;IGN: What kind of access did you give MTV?&lt;/font&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;CliffyB: We gave them unobstructed access -- apparently there is a sequence about the end of the game, and a bar of soap. I hope they don't put that in there. You'll get to see a first look at your sidekick, Anya. During the six weeks her breasts went from pretty small to heavy metal triple D cups, and we had to tone them down to be more realistic. They caught plenty of level walkthroughs, footage with vehicles; there will be some good s^%$ in there.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;font color="#ff0000"&gt;IGN: Did they capture the essence of working at Epic Games?&lt;/font&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;CliffyB: Yes, absolutely. MTV captured the essence of us making the game. They caught us going to the airport, me getting nervous backstage at the news conference, they caught me with talking with Bill Gates, givin' each other s&amp;amp;^%, all sorts of stuff. It's pretty amazing. It's a 22-minute piece, but they shot six weeks of footage. All the guys on my team are there too. I want people to know what our jobs are like. You know? I mean we play this game for two years and it's broken and unfun. It's that way until it's no longer broken and unfun, and then we give it away to everyone else. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;font color="#ff0000"&gt;IGN: Do you have any regrets? &lt;/font&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;CliffyB: Well, they shot it on a weekly basis, so I could have shaved more often. And worked out a little bit more. (laughs.) You know, everyone is going to see us in fabulous HD glory. They're probably going to see right up into my nose. I could have used more botox. Yeah, definitely more botox. (laughs.) No really, we're flattered and honored to be on this show. It'll be like Eighth and Ocean with pixels. It's going to go two ways: either it will be great or it will fail. I hope non-gamers will give it a chance. I hope that people see that we're people, we're cool. We have cool jobs and we have unique lives. I hope that's revealed. &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

Around me, my teammates were being slowly eliminated one by one by COG forces. Peaking over the hood of the car, I was able to lay down just a second of suppressing fire before a COG soldier popped up and started suppressing me. Bang. All three of my teammates are dead, and two COG soldiers are darting in and out of cover, honing in on me. I see one going for high ground and a rocket launcher. I switch to my sniper rifle and zoom in on the second story of a building a hundred feet away. Then his little human head pops into view and I put a bullet in it. Now it's me, an evil Locust foot soldier, against some other guy on the local area network, the hero of &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;a title="Gears of War" href="http://xbox360.ign.com/objects/747/747891.html"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font style="background-color:#ffffff" color="#339966"&gt;Gears of War&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font style="background-color:#ffffff" color="#339966"&gt;, Marcus of the COG. Before I can celebrate my kill and look for my last enemy, I hear the most dreaded sound in Gears multiplayer: the chainsaw. While I was busy sniping, this guy had zipped in and out of cover and circled around me. My own blood spattered about as my Locust soldier fell to the ground dead.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
